I had a passing interest in seeing Wonka. It looked intriguing but I wasn’t in a rush to see it so when I was invited to see it with a couple of my grandkids, I thought I’d check it out.
I’m not the biggest fan of musicals and I had heard there was a fair amount of singing in Wonka. I enjoyed La La Land but I was apprehensive. Well, I was impressed. The story was different from the original Willy Wonka and the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but in good ways.
The colors and cinematography was really good and the acting made the movie quite enjoyable. There were some things that were a little foggy but overall, it was a nice, light-hearted movie.
