I was able to download Those Who Wish Me Dead on my tablet immediately after it was released on HBOMax and hours before I jumped on a plane to Tampa, Florida. It might not be best seen on that small of a screen but the quality of the story was excellent. Angelina Jolie doesn’t play glamorous and the solid cast, especially Finn Little as Conner is really good. I wonder how they got Tyler Perry for a blink and you’ll miss it part but even his cameo was good.

It’s brutal and gritty but that fits the story of fighting fires in the Montana wilderness. I’m looking forward to seeing it in a theater on a bigger screen and I think I’ll enjoy it even more. I liked it more than I thought I would and really do recommend it.
