There’s so much to like in Thelma and Louise. I’m a big fan of Geena Davis, (not so much of Susan Sarandon) the director, Ridley Scott and the musically composer, Hans Zimmer. All of these terrific people along with a host of great supporting characters and a top-notch story and it’s just a really great movie. If you want to look at it as feminine empowerment, I think you’re selling it short because it has so many fun elements to it. Much is made of this being one of Brad Pitt’s first roles and even if he doesn’t have a huge part, he’s terrific to watch. Don’t look for all the supposed hidden meanings and just sit back and enjoy the relationships and humor in a really good movie.
