My other “Bride” movie this time was the classic, Princess Bride. I’ve seen it enough times to quote most of the memorable lines and the wide variety of characters are great. Ironically, the duel between Inigo Montoya and Andre the Giant’s Fezzik contained a terrific exchange about masks that couldn’t fit today’s environment better if it was written for it. You can find it on my Instagram or Twitter feed. It’s hard to believe it’s 30+ years old but seeing the younger actors as well as some that have passed is a reminder of that fact. The Princess Bride remains one of those movies that you just adore or you can’t stand the accolades it receives. There seems to be no middle ground. Me? I’m in the former camp and I make no apologizes for that.
