It’s hard to believe that of the 100+ movies that Nicholas Cage has made, he’s never made a western. The Old Way makes that happen. It’s a pretty sparse movie like a lot of Covid filmed movies are but it’s not terrible. In fact, the fact that it was only in theaters a week before VOD seemed like an odd decision.
It has a nice little story and the girl that plays his daughter is actually a very good actress.
If you like Cage, check it out.
