The reviews for The Flash have been all over the place. Initially, they were praising it for being one of the best superhero movies ever and then something switched overnight and the reviews started to bomb. I have my opinion as to why and it’s pretty pathetic but it certainly impacted ticket sales.
The movie itself was really good. It was funny with lots of good action sequences. Yes, I’m over the “multiverse” concept but even though it was necessary in this movie, it wasn’t the sole focus.
Even as a superhero movie that had a lot of superheroes, it was very much about the main character and his family. I liked it a lot but it’s sad to see that more people didn’t give it a chance.
There are some spoilers that are absolutely brilliant that I’m not going to give away but you have to see them to believe them.
