Nicolas Cage is an acting legend. The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent sums up his career as good as any movie by any actor. The other Nik, Nicholas Hoult, doesn’t have as much of a resume but I’m a fan. From Warm Bodies to Mad Max: Fury Road, he’s been an interesting actor to me and he is really the star of Renfield, as the title suggests.
It’s a good movie but it could have been so much more. It’s not a horror movie but it’s more of a thriller/comedy with plenty of Dracula-type gore.
