Though it has been quite a long time since I’ve watched Psycho, I imagine what it must have been like for viewers when it first came out. Seeing a lead character get killed off in the first act was unheard of and even the brutality, much of what was off-screen would have been earth-shattering for that time.
Psycho is my nephew’s favorite movie of all time and even thought it isn’t even my favorite Alfred Hitchcock movie, it’s well done and deserves its place in the horror movie hall of fame.
