The “based on a true story” trend is alive and well and Ordinary Angels is the latest. Once again, not everything is exactly the way it actually happened but it’s pretty close and the story is well-told and well-acted. Alan Ritchson is nothing like his Reacher character. It seems like they try to make him not look like the hulking character that he plays in Reacher. Hilary Swank is strange person but is tenacious and won’t take no for an answer in helping the family in need.
It’s a faith-based film that isn’t in your face but shows how faith can play an important role in people’s life. Well worth your time.
