I’ve been looking forward to Napoleon for a long time. Maybe that was my problem. I think my expectations were too high. It’s not that it was bad but there was so much potential and it just didn’t live up to it.
This is what I told people about it:
Napoleon was good but could have been so much better. It was good to see in a theater but wish the story would have been better. Too chaotic.
It was kinda like Napoleon’s life. Brilliant underneath but a mess in real life. Came across as unsure of itself so didn’t really lean hard into any one aspect.
