We completed the trilogy with How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. After a little drop-off on the second one, this third entry re-establishes the franchise with another solid entry. As I’ve said before, the visuals are once again extraordinary and when they find “The Hidden World”, it’s beautifully stunning. As before, they didn’t just rehash the first one and repeat it but came up with an original idea that built on the first two movies. I recommend all of these to families.
A quick note about watching it with kids. I asked my granddaughter what she liked best and what she didn’t like. She liked the playful interaction of the dragons, especially the little baby dragons. Incidentally, what she didn’t like was when the dragons (and people) were fighting.
