Last week I rewatched The Hitman’s Bodyguard to get a refresher on what wasn’t a great movie but somehow seemed to find a way to get a sequel. Well, the follow-up wasn’t any better, in fact, it was about the same as the first. It wasn’t terrible but it just wasn’t great.
Do you know how some movies that are really good can be 2+ hours long and it seems like it’s only been half an hour? Well, this movie was a little over 90 minutes and seemed like 3 hours, and not in a good way. It’s unfortunate too, because Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson and Salma Hayek are all decent actors but it just couldn’t do any better than the first one.
