Of all the actors introduced in Top Gun: Maverick, Glen Powell seems as if he’s benefited the most by being cast in every other movie that’s out right now. They’ve been to varying degrees of success but for the most part, he’s an entertaining actor. Devotion and Anyone But You were pretty good.
His latest is a direct to Netflix movie, Hit Man where he plays a teacher that poses as a hit man as a side job. Implausible? Maybe but hey, it’s just a movie. He’s good enough in it and the supporting characters don’t embarrass themselves so you can do worse than just turning your brain off for 90 minutes.
