Even though my theater experience for the original Happy Death Day was not very good, I did enjoy the movie a ton. It was funny and had some genuine tension in it. It didn’t try to be something it wasn’t and it was great fun. I had high hopes for the sequel and wasn’t disappointed. It used many of the same tropes but added some new elements as well. Some will think it’s stupid but not me, I thought it was great.
