A week before, I saw the original Halloween in a theater for the first time. Watching this movie again, just a few days later, it just felt like a perfect continuation of the story. A much bigger budget but the same tight story-telling and really good characters. Sure, some of them are caricatures of a horror movie but with all the perfect call-backs to the original and yet a unique story unto itself, it was a great Halloween movie.
