Fast Times at Ridgemont High came out before I went to my first movie in a theatre so today was my first time seeing it on the big screen. Honestly, the story isn’t really a story but it nails so much of the 80’s that it’s hard not to just love it. The music, the mall, the fashion, the characters…it’s just so much fun.

I’m not a big Jennifer Jason Leigh fan but she plays her character well. I mean, she’s not Phoebe Cates because, well, no one is Phoebe Cates. Sean Penn in his best role next to Bad Boys and so many fun characters.

For an extra special treat, just watch the credits. You’ll see what I mean.
