Alice and Jack are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can’t help questioning exactly what they’re doing in Victory, and why.

Florence Pugh caught my attention in Midsommar, a movie that will “mess you up”. I seem to like those really weird movies sometimes as Lamb will also attest. I don’t know if that’s what Don’t Worry Darling is going for but it doesn’t succeed. It’s slow at times. It’s definitely confusing and even the ending doesn’t really pull the pieces together very well. It’s a very visually interesting movie. It’s just too bad that the story wasn’t as interesting.
