Devotion has been on my radar since the first trailer. It looked good but it looked like maybe it had a bit of an agenda as well. The military segregation that is portrayed in the movie is truly sad but the inspiration of Jesse Black is something to see. Equally impressive is his wife Daisy.

What’s nice to hear is that the movie stuck to the actual story pretty closely. It’s not the fun little story like Jerry & Marge Go Large, which is also based on a true story and is a nice little movie, but it’s well-told and well-acted to be sure.
