It’s been a while since the “Bad Boys” tore up Miami with their wise-cracks, fast cars and over-the-top shootouts. Bad Boys for Life is an entertaining, if maybe a touch too long, return to what made the original so much fun. There are some unexpected developments and of course the requisite old age jokes and such. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are really good together so even if the bad guys (or good guys) can’t shoot straight, it’s nice to see them on-screen again.
Based on the ending, it looks like they’ll most definitely be back again. If you see this review and it says 7 jujubes in 1 place and 8 jujubes in another, that’s not a mistake. It’s not quite 8 but it’s more than 7 so I guess 7 1/2 will have to do.
