You don’t need to be familiar with the video game to enjoy this movie. You also don’t need to be reluctant to watch it because it is based on a video game. This is a very enjoyable action movie with a decent story that spans eight centuries. While the modern-day portion of the movie is a bit weak, the 12th Century visuals and live-action scenes will satisfy most any action movie enthusiast. (7/10)
