I was deciding between 3 movies and chose to see Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. It was because I had a chance to see it on a monster screen. I had high hopes for it but it just didn’t quite hit the mark.

I will say this though, Jason Momoa can single-handedly save a movie…and he does. (See Fast X) His humor and not taking himself too seriously makes it as good as it is. I knew that they were going to cut out a lot of Amber Heard and I was disappointed in that because I think her part of the story could have added a lot and Nicole Kidman was pretty much MIA from the movie.

Just seemed like so many missed opportunities as well as the superhero problem of having 1,000,000 things going on all at once and not being able to follow any of them.
