I don’t know if I’m the target audience for Alita. I don’t read graphic novels or comics and I don’t know all the supposed back-story but I am a fan of James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez so I thought I’d give it a shot. The special effects were amazing and I liked the story. It didn’t do really well at the box office so I doubt there will be sequels, even though it was wide open for them. I do recommend seeing it on as big of a screen as possible and soaking all of the elements in. I saw it in 3D and it was well worth it.
