Though The Twilight Zone was a TV series that ran from 1959 to 1964 and had 156 episodes, there may not be a TV series that felt more like a movie in each 30-minute episode.
I’ve always been intrigued by the stories and thought I’d select a few of the more obscure episodes and check them out. Wouldn’t you know, the first episode I watched was called, The Shelter, about neighbors who attack each other during a supposed nuclear disaster. The themes hit pretty close to home right now as did a few others that I watched. Once in a while you’ll come across a clunker episode but more often than not, The Twilight Zone is a pretty solid show that will make you think. I’ve seen a few episodes of the new iterations over the years but nothing is quite the same as Rod Serling’s original Black and White shows.
