Last week it was the Original How to Train Your Dragon, this week it is #2. There’s a reason that they continue to make these movies. They are inventive and they look great. In fact, I noticed a familiar name in the credits that probably has a lot to do with that. Roger Deakins. Yes, the same who finally won an Oscar for Blade Runner 2049 and most recently 1917. He consulted on the imagery and “photography” in this animated movie. The story continues from the first one and doesn’t just take the lazy way out and retread the same thing again. Again, there are parts that small children may find a little scary but for the most part it’s just a fun and entertaining story that looks great!
