It’s a biopic, I get it, so some liberties are to be expected. Elvis and Blonde and especially Weird: The Al Yankovic Story didn’t follow a person’s life exactly as it happened but this movie seemed to want to be a Facebook post and everything was pretty great except for a few minor bumps in the road, oh, and don’t forget the part making Whitney gay.
No one can argue how great a singer Whiney Houston was and it’s truly sad the direction her life took but do we really need to have an agenda when showing someone’s life story?
